What's this Website all about then?

Welcome to our website.

First and foremost, let us introduce ourselves.  We are Ray Sievey (Fathead) and Scott Hamilton (Pinhead).
Secondly, if you are wondering what LEJOG is?  it is not French for a gentle run, but an acronym.  LEJOG stands for Lands End (to) John O'Groats (hence the image) and we are going to cycle from LE to JOG, also known as the E-2-E (End to End) in September 2010.

This website will give you information about...
Who we are
Why we have decided to cycle over 1000 miles in 16 days
The charities that we will be raising money for
The plans, preparations and tribulations faced
The route that we will be taking
What happens on our journey north (our 1st time at Blogging)

As well as giving you a bit of background about us, we hope this website gives you an idea of what is involved in preparing for and completing the challenge for non cyclists and maybe also provide some help and guidance for cyclists who may be considering LEJOG.

This website will be continually updated, so please bookmark this site

During August there will be at least one update a week as we countdown to the beginning of our journey.  And, once we start the ride, we will be blogging daily (internet connection availability permitting).

Every penny that we raise will be going directly to the charities.  However, as you can imagine, cycling for two weeks involves a considerable cost including equipment, accommodation, sustenance etc.  Therefore, we are looking for people, companies, organisations or establishments who can help us achieve this challenge.  If you think you can help, please go to the
Contributors page

We hope you like the website

Cheers
